Colourful notes and checklists in Nook Notes

Shared notes

Write it once, everyone sees it

Share the pancake recipe, the car playlist rules or the holiday plan. Editors can change a note, viewers can only read it, and every card shows who edited it last.

Keep it tidy

Pin it, colour it, find it

Pin the notes you need every day, give each one a colour and a tag, then find anything with search. Old notes go to the archive instead of cluttering the board.

  • Checklists you can tick right on the card
  • Pin, colour and tag every note
  • Search everything, archive what you’re done with

Common questions

Good to know before you start

Can I make checklists in a note?

Yes. Any note can hold a checklist, and you can tick items straight from the note card without opening it.

Can someone read a note without editing it?

Yes. Share a note as an editor or as a viewer. Viewers can read it, editors can change it, and only you can delete it.

Are my notes private?

Yes, until you share them. A note is only yours unless you invite someone to it, and your pins, tags and archive stay private even on shared notes.

Do the people I share with need their own subscription?

No. Only one subscription is needed. Invite your partner, family or roommates for free — they get full, unlimited access to everything you share with them. To create their own lists, expenses or plants, they need their own subscription.
